Employee Assistance Program, 2013

Oasis Africa is a professional counseling and behavioral mental healthcare organization that provides services to individuals and organizations in Kenya, Africa and beyond.

We introduce you to our 2013 Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). Worldwide, many companies have realized that employee personal and work-related problems can and do adversely impact organizational productivity as well as mar corporate image. Strengthening employees’ ability to cope with problems as well as enriching individual lives and work relationships is not just the mandate of every employer but also an indirect critical investment for the company.

Why is Oasis Africa a unique organization in offering this service?

  • Our team of 20+ trainers, counselors, psychologists and leadership consultants, under my supervision, has diverse backgrounds, expertise and track record.
  • Through meetings with the HR department and supervisors, we begin contact by assessing the felt needs of each organization and then addressing the same.
  • Our service reflects local needs, offering a unique understanding of the work place, personal, relational, organizational and community issues.
  • We offer assessment, counseling, psychotherapy, and referral service as per individual employee needs.
  • We have great references from organizations where we have served in the past. Please, feel free to request for the same.
  • Some of the topics we handle: Stress and Trauma Assessment and Management, Work-Life Balance, Growing Individual Team Skills, Building a Winning Team, Managing Conflict, Retirement Planning, Preparing Staff for Retrenchment, Peer Counseling Training, The Leader as a Counselor, Transformational Leadership, Staff Coaching and Mentoring Skills, Personal Leadership Development, and so on.

We have three modules of services:

  1. Individual/marital/family professional counseling where your staff can be booked for sessions to see our Therapists at our Oasis Africa offices on Ngong Road, Nairobi; or at your offices. Those outside Nairobi may choose to use our confidential Lifeline Telephone Counseling services. Our counseling services are used a lot for staff involved in traumatic incidents, e.g., accidents, sudden bereavement, robbery attacks, or those needing other specific help.
  2. Training can be on site – at your company location or your other preferred venue if you have 10 or more staff to be trained.
  3. Training at Oasis Africa where you can send your staff to join an ongoing training at our campus on Ngong Road.
